Sasikala visits Jayalalithaa memorial, signals her comeback to active politics | Chennai News – Times of India



CHENNAI: V K Sasikala, the close aide of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, on Saturday visited the latter’s memorial at Marina in Chennai and paid floral tributes.
With AIADMK flag on her vehicle, Sasikala entered the memorial amid chants of “AIADMK general secretary Thyaga Thai Chinnamma” by her supporters.
She wiped her tears while paying tributes to Jayalalithaa.
Sasikala visited the memorial last on February 14, 2017 before going to Bengaluru jail to serve the sentence in a disproportionate assets case.
Ever since she was released from Bengaluru prison in February last, Sasikala was keen on visiting the memorial.
