Mothers Day: Cricketers, IPL Teams Post Wishes On Social Media




Players and other members of the cricket fraternity posted wishes on Mother’s Day, celebrated to honour mothers and motherly figures on the second Sunday of May every year. Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina posted pictures on social media on the occasion as did Australia cricketer David Warner and Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings among others. “Mothers are the ones who pray for you no matter how old you get. For them, you are always their child. Blessed to have two mothers in my life who have nurtured and loved me always,” Tendulkar tweeted. “Wishing Aai and Kaku a very Happy #MothersDay, sharing some photos from the past.”



“Because she is a superhero in every sense of the word and leaves us in wonder for everything she does for us,” posted Royal Challengers Bangalore along with a picture.

“Here’s wishing all Mothers out the there a very Happy Mother’s Day!” RCB wrote.

“A mother’s love is the only unconditional thing,” wrote Mumbai Indians and posted a video that showed their players wishing on Mother’s Day.

Delhi Capitals posted pictures of players with their mothers and wrote a message on social media. 

Dinesh Karthik posted a picture with his mother and wished her on Mother’s Day.
